The company "Monolit" Michał Godlewski received a grant from the European Union for the project "Transformation of the enterprise towards Industry 4.0 through automation and robotization of production processes in the field of manufacturing aluminum joinery".
The subject of the project is the transformation of the Monolit enterprise towards Industry 4.0 through the automation and robotization of production processes in the field of aluminum joinery.
As a result of the project, it will be possible to implement the following process innovations:
implementation of a new, automated process for cutting and machining aluminum profiles,
implementation of a new, robotic and automated quality control process,
implementation of a new, robotic internal transport system.
Thanks to the implementation of new solutions, it will also be possible to introduce a product innovation to the company's offer in the form of aluminum joinery with an increased level of personalization and improved aesthetics.
Furthermore, the project aims to remove barriers in production positions and make it easier for people with disabilities to take up employment, as well as to reduce the impact of the company's operations on the natural environment by reducing energy consumption, the amount of waste and the use of recycled materials.
The following investment activities are planned to implement the project:
acquisition of an automated machining and cutting center with chip extraction,
acquisition of 2 numerical crimping machines,
acquisition of a robotic cleaning and measuring station,
acquisition of CAM software.
The above actions are a direct result of the recommendations included in the Roadmap for the transformation towards Industry 4.0, which was prepared by the Science and Technology Park in Opole, a member of the European Digital Innovation Centre (EDIH).
The target groups for the project are all contractors and clients of MONOLIT
